With over 10 years of design experience in the fashion industry, O’Neal has been involved with a multitude of major apparel brands ranging from Betsey Johnson to Guess amongst his roster of accomplishments. Throughout the years, O’Neal designed for press sensation Heatherette and developed apparel for Kid Robot, Limited Brands Ltd., A. Kurtz, Guess Outerwear, Black Rivet and many other notable apparel companies. Countless creative fashion styling opportunities with Daymond John (founder, president and CEO of FUBU), Akon (Senegalese American R&B and hip-hop recording artist) and K.I.M. Media, LLC.
A graduate of Bauder College, O’Neal studied fashion design in Atlanta (Georgia) with a small stint in costume design with Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke (Virginia) before beginning his career with Betsey Johnson at the age of 21. Wyche grew up in Quitman, a small town in South Georgia, with a mother that worked as a sewer for a manufacturer of Fruit of the Loom and Hanes underwear. His father was an artist and dreamer. As a young, shy creative daydreamer, O’Neal fell victim to being bullied at the early age of 8 and continued to high school. Although being a overall popular kid, he faced daily public teasing for being different. In his adulthood, O’Neal took his negative childhood experience and transformed it into a voice for bullying prevention and awareness. In May 2012, O'Neal co-founded Adam & Wyche™ (an anti-bullying non-profit organization) and partnered with PACER National Bullying Prevention Center to educate the public and donate funds to aid the cause.
In addition to his East Lafayette Street™ responsibilities, O’Neal inspires others to love self, never compromise uniqueness and encourage to stand up and speak out.
